Use of ketamine in canines as the sole anesthetic in high-risk surgery

Abstract

The following work aims to offer the authors' experience in the use of ketamine as an alternative anesthetic in canine surgery. It also tries to establish a dosage standard that allows maximizing the benefits of the anesthetic and minimizing undesirable effects.
