Abstract

Porcine parvovirus is a widely spread infectious disease in the world that causes fertility disorders in pregnant sows such as: infertility, reduction in litter size, fetal mummification, abortions and stillbirths of piglets. Its etiological agent is a virus that belongs to the Parvoviradae family.
